Music For Memory
Our 'Music for Memory' Sessions are designed specifically for Dementia sufferers. Currently delivered in Care Homes, these sessions have 2 main focus points:
- Attendees are involved actively not passively.
- We Aim for 100% individualised engagement.
The Sessions are energetic and fun, we encourage movement where appropriate and to each individual's abilities. Our tutors gauge interest and ensure each participant's attention is maintained as extensively as possible and to a level appropriate to them. 2 tutors will deliver Music for Memory at your Care Home in order to ensure maximum engagement.
In the 2 years we have been delivering Music for Memory feedback has been excellent, with care-givers, activities coordinators and family members remarking on how well-engaged participants are; how the session lifts residents' moods and offers an opportunity for family to join in a meaningful moment with their loved ones.
